This is indeed a great milestone achieved. 20 years I looked forward to it. Got a samsungs3 for the hubby and made him bought me a nice handbag..ha ha. Yes I m a practical person. My advice to the newly wed..dont sulk when your hubby is not the romantic-type who reads mind. Few years back I told my dh that he never give me flower. So once he went to cameron, he came back with a car boot filled with flowers..mostly roses n chrysanthemums..that can cover for the next 10 years..at other time when he hasn't bought anything for my bd, I went with him to a souvenir shop n wait outside for him to buy me a card..ha ha.. Hoping n praying for more good years with a dear friend cum hubby. May Allah grant us patience n love to us.

Its great to be around your siblings. The laugh, the jokes, the cheerful faces..we went to masjid tanah melaka on the 25th jan to majlis sambut menantu...ika n ariff. Everyone was there. Paklong, maklang, ciknan and pakcu..n the kids. Unfortunately some were not able to come due to other commitment. We had delicious nasi minyak n nasi putih with all the lauk pauk. The special dish was a kerabu betik muda. After the photo sessions which took quite sometim we went to have cendols n abc at nearby stall. Alhamdulillah...Tahniah again from makteh n family. May Allah grant happiness for this lovely couple.

We are left with 11 months ahead..if we are still alive by the end of the year. So what have we achieved so far? New year...new resolutions. I never have any new year resolutions..just doing things that need to be done. So what has been going on. The kids went back to school. Abang muneer for the first time was appointed as a prefect but the huge improvement in him made me wish I had 'complaint' to the school earlier...ha ha nothing big. Its just that I think he was not given the chance to prove that he can be trained to be leaders. He took pride in the appointment and I can see that he try to emulate good behaviours as taught by teachers n us. He starts to fast every monday n thursday. Getting him to read quran every morning before going to school had become easier. He takes his hafazan task more seriously, currently trying to memorize almulk. Actually..'dah basi'..never mind, life events...important.. The kids went to Gambang safari at the start of the holiday. Unfortunately I did not go with them thus I have not a single photo. But they had a great time and insyaAllah I will bring Maryam there together with the kakaks and abangs. Apart from playing game..'sigh'..I manage to send Muneer to the 'Kelas hafazan' conducted at the Akademi Tahfis Indera mahkota owned by DrMN..See, now if you have money you can invest in many things. DMN is a private orthopaedic surgeon, but he is also actively involve in Islamic NGO and is greatly concern about tarbiyah for children. He invests his money in setting up this Tahfiz centre and may Allah ease his journey in da'wah. the response were great from parents in Indera Mahkota to send their children during school holiday...ATIM managed to conduct 3 separate sessions during this school holiday and insyaAllah will have a continuos program starting this year 2014 ...

Just after the reception on the 25.12.2013 we headed down south to whereas Batu Pahat la..Alhamdulillah we managed to gather and held a bbq with the rest of HjSarif clan. Everyone gathered at Julie's house for a simple makan-makan...  Atok...now is 70 plus..I m sure if my ayah is still around they will be gud buddies..sob sob..  my MIL....a very patient lady   and more makan...near pasar 'karat'..senang sungguh bagi nama. Actually they sell secondhand stuff or preloved items..karat pun karat lah. The food here was awesome...dah nak 20 tahun kahwin baru tahu pasal kedai ni....    we then went to Zai's place, at Kuarters Hospital Batu Pahat    Simple yet delicious..masak dari hati...   Alhamdulillah I ve been blessed with all these beautiful people around me..my mak ayah, siblings and in-laws..as well as a dear hubby and awesome BP family. May allah give us more great years ahead and...

Alhamdulillah..I finally got the 'time' to actually sit down and update some important life events. Of course we have been waiting eagerly for this event. My darling niece has finally become a wife to her beloved BFF insyaAllah. May Allah grant happiness to this beautiful couple #ariffika Congratulations to my dear sister kakda and abang sabri for the new addition to their already big and happy family. To both the newly weds, makteh pray that happiness be your always here and hereafter. There will always be ups and downs in our life, married or not, but you are lucky to have each other to support... for my dear hunnybunny, abang awad, man, atmam...congrats too.
