After almost 2 and a half years bersalin baru dapat pergi berurut..Ha ha..Tendency emak-emak ni mengutamakan orang lain dulu baru diri sendiri. Hari ni menyambung cuti. Pagi-pagi hantar maryam ke nursery. By 10.30 hantar kak sarah and abang Muaz naik bas ke JB. Balik rumah dan bagi  Muneer makan ubat. Kesian muneer demam pulak..Lepas tu baru ke Mata Ayer Spa. Alhamdulillah walau pun walk-in tak perlu menunggu lama, mungkin sebab masih pagi dan orang pergi bekerja. So for RM220 sempat lah bersauna, body-scrub dan massage. Tak tau lah mahal ke ok, rasanye ok lah tu.. Mata Ayer Spa menggunakan product Tanamera..tanah merah le tu, dan scrubnya Boreh..beras hancur le gamaknye...Next time kita pi buat facial pulak...So tomorrow we ll go back to the same routine. Exam question pun dah ready just waiting for some final steps before the big day on Monday. Kebetulan pulak same day dengan SPM..so bukan je students kita yang berdebar, kita pun tumpang 'stress' mengenangkan anak bujang...

Opah's nightmare started on Monday actually. She took a jab of analgesia from A&E Kuale kangsor. On Tuesday afternoon I was talking to her thru phone when she said she need to hang up as the postman was out there. I posted a box of drugs on Monday. At around 4 pm Tuesday she called again saying she had supra pubic pain, could not pee and had backpain as well. I asked her to rush to A&E again as I think she had acute urinary obstruction. She was there around Maghrib. They put CBD to her. There was minimal urine. But she was given U-lite, a urine alkaliniser, she refused the jab and was sent home. She was still in pain. Then the plan to take the long journey started thanks to the good communication system we have. At around 3 am next morning she went to get the jab and head towards KL with izham n d gang..hi hi. Kda and team quickly took over and drove like F1 driver to Kuantan. Alhamdulillah the long ride ended around 2 pm with opah of course exhausted from the long journey....

...alhamdulillah dah dua hari tak basuh pinggan..ha..ha ..bagi orang yang pernah bermaid..kemudian tak bermaid..bila bermaid kembali rasa bagai di awangan..Temporary maid ni hanya akan berada dirumah sampai selasa depan.. Saya cuma perlu bayar RM50 perday, which is much way cheaper than RM20 perhour i gave to the kindy teacher yang jaga maryam tempoh hari semasa nak pi ceramah Dr. Zakir Naik...so bila balik tadi macam nampak rumah lebih ceria...mmm so camner? According to the agent I may need to pay slightly less than RM11500 if I want to continue with this maid..with salary of RM700 permonth and the contract is less than 2 years... Setelah hidup tak bermaid dari awal tahun dulu, sebenarnya boleh hidup kalau takde maid, cuma bila ada emergency contohnye anak sakit dan tak boleh hantar nursery kita terpaksa ambil cuti sebab kita pun bukan ada sedara mara berdekatan. Bila kita perlu bergegas ke spital tengah malam nak nebulise anak yang asthma, terpaksa ketuk rumah member tengah malam bu...

Kelam kabut mama and ayah bila muaz kata kena urus sendiri permohonan ke matrikulasi. Alhamdulillah ada pakcik yang rajin nak melayan. Cik Zul tolong dapatkan pin number dari BSN kerana kena bawa salinan IC dan IC muaz ada di tangannye. Since we thought that the deadline is tomorrow. Tup tup bila dah dapat, tengok-tengok deadline 30 November....mmmmm. In a way..alhamdulillah..tak logik pun tutup awal-awal, orang duk tengah struggle nak SPM. So kepada makcik-pakcik yang belum sempat ambil pin number ni boleh la pi BSN..

Sewaktu saya menulis entry ini bakal doktor keluaran IIUM Kulliyyah of Medicine dan para pelajar sarjana sedang berdebar-debar menanti giliran mengambil skrol sempena Convest ke 28. Saya pernah mengambil skrol dalam 3 sesi konvokesyen dari 3 buah universiti. Sesi konvokesyen yang simple di Hotel Istana pada tahun 1995 bagi mengambil skrol MBBS Universiti of Adelaide. That was a joyous occasion, simple ceremony for us who could not attend the actual convo in Adelaide. I took my MMDSc scroll at IIUM in 2004. That was a memorable ceremony for me as the student. Last year I had the opportunity to receive my PhD scrol at UKM. Only those who had the opportunity to sit in all these occasions can appreciate my 'bias' towards IIUM. Walau banyak pandangan sinis sesetengah ahli masyarakat kepada produk IIUM tapi kajian statistik sendiri menunjukkan pelajar IIUM secara keseluruhan berpeluang sama seperti produk universiti lain. Penggunaan bahasa Inggeris dalam kuliah memberi 'advantage...

Alhamdulillah, the very last minute arrangement allowed me to be among the throngs of people who made their way to the Dewan Jubli Kuantan to hear talk by this great orater. He is only 3 years older than me personally but his vast knowledge in comparative religion and eloquent speech made many of us felt like we are from kindies. Ha ha..laugh at your self. He did not only spoke fluently on quranic verses and hadith but still remember the stages of so called human development in history, the neanderthat, hominids etc. The ability for him to 'dissect' books of other religion enabled him to give convincing evidence about The Oneness of God..Lailahaillallah..Muhammadur Rasullallah.. Alhamdulillah, satu program yang bagus bagi menggalakkan penulisan jurnal. Pelbagai input yang baru atau 'reminders'. Program 1 hari setengah yang dibuat secara bersama KOM dan CRC HTAA. Peserta yang datang rata-rata pakar, MO dan juga kakitanagn kesihatan yang lain. Input dari Dr. Srijit das dan Dr. hatta Sidi banyak membuka ruang baru bagi peserta dari KOM terutamanya.
