28th Nov 2007 About a week ago I received a phone call. Based on the number I knew it was made from east coast. 'Assalamualaykum, ....I m ...calling from Al-Manar, we would like to inform that your son has been accepted to Al-manar'. I thanked the lady and said alhamdullilah. My son has been accepted to Al-Manar, a centre that is known among circle of friends as a good place for tahfiz and arab. We were still 50:50 about sending abang muaz to Kelantan. But at the same time I did some search thru internet. As there was no formal website about that school I have to be satisfied with infos from blogs set up by student or ex-student of Al-Manar. From these few search I found that quite anumber of them make their way to universities local and internationals either in science-based courses or in reliougous study. 20 nov 2007 Today hantar result MDA aorta to supervisor. Result yg dah analysed with ANOVA and post hoc Tukey: 1 MDA aorta 2. MDA liver 3. MDA heart 4. SOD heart 5. GPX heart 6. Catalase heart 7. Weight 8. BP Test dah buat tapi belum analyse with Tukey: 9. MDA plasma 10. Nitric oxide Test Belum buat: 11. Immunohisto VCAM - still reading on method 12. Homocysteine - awaiting for chemicals 13. Enzyme CBS - still finding a suitable method THESIS WRITING: on going. KIV submit chapter 1 and 2 end of december 2007. Chapter 3 on-going.

Sunday there was an entrance-exam test for abg Muaz. We went to Pejabat Perkim Tmn Harmonis Gombak. By the time we were there, there were other parents already. The kids were to sit for an English test, recitation of Al-Quran and memorizing part of surah Ali-Imran. Considering that quiet a number of them were 5A's student, we are aware of the slim chance getting into the school. But we have tried and abang Muaz had done his best. We went home quiet late. After 2 pm we went to Sg.Ramal. Attending a wedding ceremony, Ustaz Zainal n wife Farhana. Bagai pinang dibelah dua. May Allah bless this marriage and happiness be with them always. Saturday 17 nov 2007 was report card day. Muaz's Pekerti result was not out yet. Need to wait till Thursday. Munirah showed improvement. From 20's , now manage to get to to 13th. place in her class. Despite 8 A's, her rank was still above 10. Takpa she showed improvement. Sarah is still struggling. Need to focus more on her. Muneer performed well. Berkat ajaran cikgu Tadika Rasyad le. According to teacher he often commented that exercise given to him was easy. So he was given other additional works...Alhamdullilah Muneer can read. He completed his 'Bacalah Anakku 8'. Next year he will be streamed to the best class, insyaAllah. Go Muneer go... Ptg kda dtg, pekena kueh teow n other 'instant kueh mueh'. Seronok makan ramai ramai...Malam pi tahlil rumah neighbour.

Semalam abang ambil result UPSR. Dari malam sebelumnya mama dah berdebar. mengalah kan orang yg ambil result. I asked my son. "How do you feel if you dont obtain a single A". He said he will be embarrassed. Poor son. So when morning came I was the one who had butterflies in my tummy. I can not concentrate doing anything yet I had promised my supervisor that I will give her some results. So I went to ukm, put my GPx and SOd results at her door. After Zohor I went to Al-Amin. I was early. About 2 pm I went inside. Oh no I wont get the result as I havent paid his December tuition fee. Quickly I went to the office and with my credit card made the payment. There Muaz receive his result. Alhamdulilah he got 3A's and 2 B's I m happy for him but Muaz seemed not very happy with his result. He said earlier that he expected 4A's. BM Pemahaman he was OK with a B but not science. I was surprised too as I know that he understand well andcan answer well too based on my discussio...

Salam, lama sungguh tak memblogging. Teruk betul bahasa yg aku guna. Hancur. Hopefully DBP wont be unhappy. Sebab apa lama tak memblog? Tak dak mood. Apa dah jadi yek dari cerita ambuyat sampai sekarang? Itu lah malas sgt nak menulis... August-October Settling down dari mood holiday. Presented my work so far, commented by Prof. INS - statistical findings. Thus I was advised by Dr.K to add samples. Ai seh man nak kena bela tikus lagi ke...I had enough of these rats...By end october I have completed all additional sample test - MDA aorta, GPX and SOD. Results not yet seen by supervisor. I ll show her tomorrow. Homocysteine wise I may not need to do it by HPLC. Hopefully can get it done at HUKM soon. Please God..I hope can settle this parameter. Immunhisto and the enzymes...entah lah, lagi dipikir lagi sakit jiwa. Hari ni aku pi tengok lagi shida buat staining. Setakat tengok budak darjah satu pun boleh..Buat la..bila lagi nak start?
