Alhamdulillah DH has safely landed at the Incheon International Airport. For the next 4 days he ll bury himself into abundance of new knowledge on the gastric cancer treatment at the International Gastric Cancer Congress. While mama is Ok with ayah's visit there..the girls are full of envy..because they are sooo in loved with anything related to Korea..ish..ish ish..Tak paham sungguh. Hopefully with whatever experience that DH gain overthere will benefit throngs of patients at the government hospital back here in Malaysia..especially those related with gastric cancer...Go abang go.. Sahabat dari Melaka

Sudah lama tidak bertamu. Alhamdulillah on Sunday, an old friend of ours came to visit us. Dr. Rosli, Aishah and family dropped by to our house. Though it was still early, I prepared a simple lunch for them. I hope many more friends, especially my MATES friends will be able to come to our house....Seronok berjumpa kawan-kawan lama yang sudah semakin sukses sekarang.... Anak masing-masing dah besar

EBM for Maryam

Image
Syukur ...manage to express almost 9 oz during lunch time today...:) Alhamdulillah dah lebih 10 bulan menyusukan Maryam. If I can do it I m sure those young mothers out there can do better. Just make sure you have a supportive husband. Get a good breast pump. Dont tell me its expensive. If you can spend RM 50 per month to pay Astro, I m sure you can save RM50 monthly while you pregnant to buy the best breast pump available. And it certainly will worth every penny spent.

Weekend project

Image
In Adelaide we lived on our own, by renting house with friends. Unlike students who lived in hostel, we basically survived on our own. Every weekend we took turn to go to the market to get fish, vegies and fruits. We collect money among us and spent it on groceries and things from the market. I was surprised when I first went to the market in Adelaide. Unlike our usual smelly and wet market here, theirs were/are pleasant and a nice place to be in. And it was and still is clean. It was a place with bright colours of fruits and flowers, smells of fresh breads and drinks etc. I enjoyed my time in the market. The adelaide Market Fresh fruits and flowers filling up the bazaar. As we can not afford to buy the asean vegies like sawi or kangkung, we end up buying broccoli, cauli flowers, carrots, potatoes, peas, etc. But we still purchased some hot chillies at the Chinese groceries there. Brussel sprout. Cheap veggies in Adelaide. We boil them and eat with sambal belacan. ganti ulam. The fish ...

simple yet prepared with love......

My routine for the last 3 months is to see my hubby off to KL almost every monday morning. At around 4.30 am hubby will start to make a move to his destination. One thing that I never miss is to prepare something for his early breakfast. Though simple, I ll make sure at least he had a cup of coffee and something to bite. Simple bread with scrambled egg, burger telur.. ..Unlike other days, this morning maryam was up too early thus I was busy with her. I told dear hubby that I wont be able to prepare anything for him. Its nearly 5. As usual...my DH said..ok.But I was sure I would not be happy the whole day if I let hubby off without anything. Thus holding maryam, i quickly went down. Single handedly prepared a cuppa and cheese/meat slice sandwich. A quick heat in the microwave gave a warm and nice sandwich for DH....Alhamdulillah.......Bon voyage abang..May Allah give you strenght to face the many days ahead, and me too

Kenangan lalu.

Image

My baby warded

Image
Maryam was warded for 1 night on the 28 of march. I brought her to the A& E as i noted that she was having some rhonchi and wheezing. earlier during the night I brought her to Aw's clinic at Beserah and he advised me to bring maryam for another neb later. At around 1 am I drove to HTAA after leaving muneer at fidah's house. Thanx very much to dear fidah who was ever willing to lend a hand. I thought maryam would just be given a neb, observed and discharge, instead was ask to be admitted. Alhamdulillah it was just for a night otherwise I would probably get admitted my self. Alhamdulilla Allah permudahkan. When Dh arrived in the next morning he took charge and I quickly went home and get a shower. My dear friend lela was there to send me to HTAA. Thanx dear friend. I m forever indebted to you guys...Bila berjauhan dari saudara mara, kawan-kawan dan jiran lah saudara kita..Syukur ya Allah, am blessed with the best friends I can rely on here.. Both tired Kesian baby mama...

Warming up

It has been long since I last make my self useful in the lab. About 2 years ago, I wrap my lab work and hang my white coat. For the last two days, me and the 2 sifus have been busy with one of the research project headed by none other than our 'perfectionist' gal, Dr.Zam. The air was filled with laughter and it seemed that everyone give their best in making sure this project run smooth. As for me, I just make sure I lend my hands whenever am needed. Hope things go well for Dr. Z and the other 'for-ever-keen-with- research' Dr.Lela. Bravo too for the MLTs and RAs.
