PRU13

If what is reported here in The STAR is true..than in sya Allah if I ever get to vote this year, I know what my vote will be. With my limited knowledge on Malaysia politic, I do not think that DAP's struggle all this while will stop just at the level of a DPM. And I think, yes we may achieve vision 2020 faster under them but our majority poor Malay muslim will be sidelined and we will not be very different from our brothers and sisters in our southern neighbour country. I accepted that I do not agree 100% with whats happening under our current leadership but i do not think our predicament will be better if the opposition wins...my2cents..

PETALING JAYA: PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang may be named deputy prime ministers if Pakatan Rakyat wins the coming General Election.

Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told Sin Chew Daily that this was possible because Malaysian laws did not prohibit the appointment of two deputy prime ministers.

However, he added, Pakatan would respect the people’s aspirations and act accordingly in line with the democratic process.

According to Anwar, the Opposition coalition had not discussed matters pertaining to the appointment of deputy prime ministers as the focus now was mainly on social issues and Pakatan’s agenda.

He also stressed that PAS would not be working together with Umno after the general election to implement the hudud law.

“If Umno is sincere in implementing the Islamic penal code, it would have to form an alliance with PAS,” he said.

Anwar also gave the assurance that Pakatan would not implement hudud laws if it came into power as all policies would have to be made in accordance to the Federal Constitution and agreed upon by all coalition members.

Anwar, who is also Permatang Pauh MP, said he was confident of Pakatan’s win over Barisan, with a slim majority, as the coalition had already made significant progress in Pahang, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak

Kak MM and anonymous..In this current situation my priority is the malay muslim and maybe some people think i m being racist but I m also worried about ISLAM in general.in future...an individual or few individuals may make mistake, they may repent as muslim..but if a whole bunch of people in power showing signs of liberalism..this would be a disaster to our future generation
