Expiry date

 
Setiap orang ada expiry date, cuma kita tak tau bila expiry date kita. Tapi kita tau kita makin turun bukit bila tanda-tanda penuaan makin banyak..So for the last 3 weeks I ve been monitoring my BP which was hovering around 130-140/ 80-90. Ada masa meningkat lebih tinggi. So I went to see the physician at the hospital. The baseline examination was OK. Creatinine, FBS, LFT, FBC were Ok but the lipid profile was not nice. The total cholesterol was high so as the LDL level....So jangan sangka yang hanya orang berbadan gemuk atau obese sahaja mengalami masalah kolesterol, semua orang berkemungkinan mengalaminya...So one of the advice given (memang dah tau lama pun) was to look after the diet. ie reduce fat intake and increase dietary fibres like oat...ish oat ni opah je yang laju makan..Nak tak nak kena lah 'paksa' diri. Apart from that I am starting on Lipitor or atorvastatin. Blood pressure wise masih belum perlu ubat tapi need to increase exercise and reduce stress. So dengan bersemangatnye semalam telah membancuh oat, nuts, raisins. Sebenarnya nak cuba buat bar tapi takda baking paper so guna je lah bekas yang comel ni. Its not crunchy but palatable...ha ha

Easy oat utk org yg tak suka oat- add brown sugar to a bowl, air panas, letak oat and add some milk to make it creamier. Try it makteh maybe you'll like it. :)

Akak hanya boleh makan oat kalau di campur dengan buah masam-masam manis. Kekadang letak prune .. dihiris kecil. Kerapkalinya akak letak crunchy peach ( yg dalam tin tu ) .. akak ambil buah je.. air di buang sebab nak elak kemanisannya. Letak garam sikit ( kalau tak letak pun ok ) susu tepung dan bancuh dengan air panas .. di campur akhirnya dengan air suam biasa. Kalau makam cara ini, semangkuk boleh abis dengan mudah. Memang mengenyangkan !!
