25 june 08 Today we bid farewell to K yati, a very helpful science officer in the department. Her departure is a great lost..Anyway I m sure with her effort her new budding career will be a succes too...And the best part is, as a gesture of thank you to the staff and us ( for pestering her...;) she treat us with lunch and ayummy chocolate strawberry cake from Secret Recipe..thank you..

Yeah..thats what happen these last few days. On the 14th.June I became 40. The bloated feeling that I usually suffered from did not subside and I suspected something more serious. Inform my hubby about it. Had to refuse my sis call to see a very sick uncle in the afternoon. Went to hospital Ampang that night to do scan. Suspected a gall bladder pathology. By 10 pm got a call from a cousin.."Pak Mat macam dah takde".Rushed to Shah Alam. Pak Mat dah pergi. Monday..rushed to Shah Alam for burial. Tuesday went to scan by radiologist. A stone in my slightly-larger-than-normal gall bladder. Hubby called a friend a Tawakkal hospital after finding out that IIUM do cover for staff health expenses. Saw Dr.AA on Thursday, signed consent form. Start fasting at night. Friday morning said bye-bye to kids, went to tawakkal. At nine seen by an anaesth. After examination he allowed me a cup of tea. They really want to own a pet. But no no they cant. The main reason is Sarah and Muneer had bouts of asthma in the past and there were times when the attacks were bad. So sorry darling. But taking photo with some one else's pet ok la.....Sarah , Munirah and Aishah with Aishah's lovely pet.

Our weekend routine doesnt change much during school holiday. Our day start solat Suboh. Muaz and ayah at the mosque and the rest of us at home. When ayah comes home we recite Al-Maksurat together. We then take turn to read a chapter from the book 'La Tahzan' by Dr. Aidh Abdullah Al-Qarni. We then will head to a field near our house. There is jogging track and badminton court. Usually we spend around an hour there before heading to a mamak restaurant...phew..berbaloi ke jogging 2-3 round? :)

Apa nak buat...memandangkan harga petrol yang melambung naik..(ELEH...ALASAN JE TU) we have decided to cuti-cuti kat kuantan je. Not to any chalet but to our own house....yang belum didiami sepenuh nya. Yes our beloved house at Bkt.Istana Kuantan. This trip was accompanied by Opah..We eat out most of the time. managed to settle few things with Bindev and arrange for wiring and minor extension of the house. We went to Teluk Cempedak and the kids plus ayah enjoyed them selves.....yippee...Apart from feeling tired I really appreciate the break from KL. Pantai Teluk Cempedak bersih. Rezeki anak anak, ombak tak kuat, so they get the chance paly in the water. We went to east Coast mall, the new shopping centre in Kuantan. The place was huge for Kuantan level and the shops were many but I dont know how are they going to sell all those branded items. 'Crocs' shoes costing more than RM100 per pairs even for kids...I dont know..probably orang-orang berduit from Trengganu and Kelantan li...
