Assalamualaikum and a very good morning to Prof. I...................as usual, the opening of my presentation. Yeah today is my umptenth presentation at the department. It was not a big presentation but the tense was there as the head was around. Prof. INS is our new HOD. A 'stylish' lady, not very 'friendly' in the sense that you want but she is good, very good actually. I 'respect' her more than any other lecturer here. A soft spoken lady but every words that come out from her mouth should be counted as they are not nonsense. So today I presented a journal entitled 'Increased monocyte adhesion to aortic endothelium in rats with hyperhomocysteinemia..' a paper published in a good high impact journal by group of researchers from Hong Kong University. It was a quite complicated paper as it involved lots of immunological studies which I was not very familiar with. Being a person who depended a lot on visual explaination, I interpreted the method in diagram forms. I used 36 slides. Alhamdullilah..Prof. I was satisfied. There were many questions and I thought I answered them quite ok. She thanked me for the presentation and commented that ' It was a good presentation'. Just a simple compliment but if it came from Prof. I I think it was really worth it as she is not very generous with her compliment. Thanx Prof. U have made my day!
